Rose Rock Lakeside was started in November of 2022 when the project Owner was looking to put together a team who could envision a lakeside resort community similar in concept and feel to 30A in Florida. Through a series of connections and inquiries they found us and engaged our team to start a design concept and create a vision for the community. He gave us a hand sketch concept that included a larger community comprised of several smaller micro-communities and we ran with it.
Through our knowledge and familiarity with the 30A stretch of highway from Panama City Beach to Destin, Florida, we were able to synthesize the concept down to an organizing boulevard connecting Hwy 125 to a section of beach on the east side of Monkey Island at Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees. From there we developed several micro communities centered around commercial areas, pools and clubhouses, parks and restaurants. The resort community is comprised of 355 homes, 7 commercial buildings, miles of walking trails, groves, ponds, and vistas. It includes a concierge dock and a day dock for beach play as well as adjacent access to Terra Miranda marina and golf cart path and highway connection to the famous Shangri-la Golf Resort.
Our team is designing multiple prototypes for homes that can be customized for our clients and we also have the option for the design of complete custom homes as well. We will have a builders guild with proven, quality-driven construction and attention to detail. The homes will all value light, quality of space, usability and energy efficiency. Our goal is to make a unique lakeside resort community that is a place that fosters beauty, gathering, friendship, and fun.
